Alberto and Michelangelo Nodolini are the creators of the other show to be presented at Mercanteinfiera: “On the Rosy Wings of Love.” It will present original costumes for operas staged at the Verona Arena: the sophisticated fabrics worn by the Ethiopian princess Aida, the sumptuous embroideries of the gypsy Azucena in Trovatore, the elegance of the laces of Don Carlos’ Elisabetta of Valois. The project aims to show the technical ability and interpretative design of Italian sartorial craftsmanship, a mix of intelligence, research and technique that has conquered the world. The sartorial masterpieces on display were made by the Casa d’Arte Fiore costume atelier in Milan.
