Parma, 18 June 2025 – Collectors, antique dealers, buyers, and traders: professionals, in a word. They are the target audience of a new initiative launched by Fiere di Parma, following a partnership with BID – Déballage Italia, a leading player in the field. The agreement brings to major Italian cities a monthly event defined by its streamlined format: fast-paced, highly curated, and centered on real-time transactions.

The project stems from the collaboration between Augusto Bulgarelli and Andrea Lodi, founders of BID, and Fiere di Parma. The inaugural edition is scheduled for Tuesday, 2 September in Bologna.

In its purest form, the déballage is a professional ritual: sellers and buyers gain access at the same time, turning the venue into a space of selection, opportunity, and discovery. There are no elaborate setups, no intermediaries, just the direct action of those who seek and find. This agile format is designed for those who deal in antiques as a profession and are attuned to the demands of the international market.

The déballage becomes an integral part of Fiere di Parma’s multi-hub strategy, which continues to unfold with consistency and foresight—offering a comprehensive presence in the sector: from Mercanteinfiera, Europe’s benchmark fair for antiques, design, and collectibles, to special cultural exhibitions, and now a recurring monthly format aimed at trade professionals.

This coming November, Parma will also host Parma Bagarre, the first in a new series of BID-branded events designed not just for professionals, but also for the general public and enthusiasts.
